Türkiye

A quick update – work has been pilling up since my absence for a week holiday along with a thousand shots (I had purposely made it this number) taken during my recent trip to Turkey. It is an amazing and history rich country. I learned alot during the trip considering my first thought of the country was just mediocre. I guess it was mostly because I am living in a Islamic country that seems to love going backward and religion issue is never left alone. The trip just change my mind. I had alot of fun but the sun was really trying to cook me up. Thankfully the mother earth provide some shades and cool breeze, I just got tan. I will continue more on later, had a deadline coming Monday.

The Peak

It is always nice to finally visit the country that you see so much on TV. I went ahhhh, ohhhh and ehhhh when my brain is matching up to what I’ve watched into what I am actually seeing like a student on a field trip. Hong Kong is definitely a great place to shop but a friend of mine who had been living in Singapore commented she prefer shopping in Singapore as things are more orderly. I am not much of a shopper but ended up one in Hong Kong. Here’s a peek of the peak if you haven’t been there yet.

Top of the World

This was taken during my first trip to China back in November 2010. The Golden Summit is the symbol of Mt. Emei that is also popular with its four wonders, namely “The Sunrise”, “The Sea of Clouds”, “The Buddhist Divine” and “The Saint Lights” . It was a looonng way up but I was surprise how spectacular the view is. Just kinda reminds me of Journey to the West.

Journey to the Paddy Field – Sekinchan

My colleagues and I were talking about having a short road trip so I suggested Sekinchan. Been wanting to go there for a long time. I just somehow wanted to visit a paddy field and it is also one of the most important agriculture in Asia. I am glad they were equally interested despite first time hearing of the place from me. We took our time taking all sorts of pictures and on our way back we stopped at Telok Gong for its seafood.
