About

I am not much of a writer but at the very least I wanted to get this page done.

My love for photography started when I got myself a Nikon Coolpix 5900. That was probably year 2004. I had alot of fun with the camera taking hundreds of hundreds of shots. I was pretty excited, carrying my camera all the times with me stopping everyone from eating so I can take pictures and always the one left out behind as I was too busy taking pictures. It was just a point and shoot camera, I do not have to bother much about the technical details aspect of the photo. Only one concentration, capturing the picture the way I want it to be. Bad or Good.

Then it wasn’t long after the DSLR trend started, the once expensive DLSR becomes much more affortable and right now it’s at the point that you can get a DSLR with P&S camera price. Pretty amazing. So when Nikon first release a smaller body DSLR – D40 for beginner, I took deep interest in it. After pondering between D50 and D40, I upgraded to D40. Fast forward a little more, I upgraded to D90 in year 2009.

Owning a DSLR opens a wide possibility of ways to capture a shot and there is all those equipments that you can upgrade to (doesn’t come cheap also..). But along the way, my interest with photography gradually diminish. I haven’t completely lost interest but I am lost as to what makes a photo. A photo the way I wanted it to be. Gone where the excitement that I had when I hold my very first P&S and then DSLR.

This site serves as a motivation for me to find back my love for photography. I am selecting photos that I like most out of my collection whenever I go through it and as my journey continues.

I hope you will also enjoy it.
